Year 1 Goals

Ambitious. Honest. Built to be measured.

The Kickback Youth Initiative is a brand-new organization in Rome, Georgia. We haven't reported outcomes yet because we haven't earned them yet — these are the goals we're chasing in our first year. Track them with us.

Focus areas

What we're actually building.

Enroll our first 100 teens

Open enrollment, run community intake nights, and welcome our founding cohort of members with families walking beside them.

Match 40 mentors 1:1

Recruit, screen, background-check, and train mentors — then match them with teens for consistent weekly check-ins.

Serve daily meals & snacks

No teen learns hungry. We're standing up a kitchen, food-partner pipeline, and after-school meal service from day one.

Launch the Hustle Lab

Kick off entrepreneurship cohorts so teens can earn real income legally — lawn care, detailing, content, coding, and clothing brands.

Open the Learning Center

Financial literacy, job readiness, and life-skills courses with certificates, badges, and progress tracking.

Build a safe online community

Launch our monitored community platform for members, mentors, and families — safety-first, always.

How we'll report

Transparency is the plan.

Quarterly updates

Public progress on every Year 1 goal — hit, missed, or in progress.

Annual impact report

Our first full report will publish at the end of Year 1 with outcomes, financials, and lessons learned.

Honest, not polished

We share what worked and what didn't. Community trust is worth more than a shiny number.

Help us hit Year 1.

Sponsor a mentor match. Fund a meal week. Underwrite a Hustle Lab cohort. Every gift moves a target from red to green.
